(351) Cross Cultural Adaptation and Psychometric Validation of The Arizona Sexual Experiences Scale (ASEX) into Bangla

Abstract Introduction Sexual Dysfunction affecting all age groups. We need standard tool for proper assessment and management of patient with Dysfunctions. However, there is severe scarcity validated in Bangla to assess Dysfunctions our cultural context. The Arizona Experience Scale widely used screen severity clinical research. Objective To develop a culturally adapted version (ASEX) Methods This was cross sectional validation study conducted from June, 2019 Mar, 2021. After receiving the approval original author (ASEX), it forward backward translated followed by expert committee review initial scale developed. Afterward this applied on 56 patients evaluated validity (Content validity, Face Construct validity) reliability (Internal consistency). Data analysis performed Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) version- 24. Results showed very good psychometric property Cronbach’s alpha value 0.756.
